Testimony
My role at First Step is to help raise funds for the organization through fundraising activities and communications. I write grants and organize fundraising events. I am a person in recovery from substance use disorder and am a proud single mom of three beautiful children and a Siberian husky momma. I have a passion for recovery and do alot of service work because I can’t keep what I have unless I give it away. I run recovery based meetings in both the women’s jail in S. Burlington and the Lund home. I am extremely active in the recovery community and it is my goal to make sure we expand and help as many people as possible find recovery.
